Dave Aftandilian Impressive dark ambient evocation of what I had previously considered to be an insignificant deity in the Cthulhu mythos. But the thick, liquid gurglings and cavernous echoes from chthonic and interstellar spaces lapping at my sanity from this collaboration soon convinced me otherwise. I also feel the black light of cosmic wonder shining here, both seductively attractive and dangerously predatory. A terrific release.

Tsathoggua is an amorphous, toad-like god-creature mentioned in the Pnakotic Manuscripts and the Necronomicon and the Commoriom myth-cycle

Come journey deep into the depths, where long forgotten temples to strange creatures and dark cosmic summons lie unexplored by mortal eyes.

"Emerging from a narcotic slumber, my recollections of the Minions of Ka'arth were a series of fractured episodes of strange, traumatic and thrilling events—the visual impress of obscure memories that may have been dreams, but for the signs I bore of their veracity—a sigil tattooed on my left wrist, some evidence of bladed impregnations—a salient proof of my dark adventure: the fact that it had truly happened.
The setting was one of a subterranean temple situated in a vast interior of hollowed mantle. The natural rockface of the underground formed the larger part of its prodigious walls. The ceiling was lost in a conundrum of gloom, amuck with the interspersions of twirling shades and mottled brightness. Torches broiled in their hidden sconces." - Excerpt from Booklet

So is this a compilation?
No, this is a collaboration and huge undertaking. Over 20 artists linked studios and sound for over a year so that they could work with each other. This led to a deep collaborative exploration of the Mythos and Tsathoggua
