I am just in love with this album. It gives me the impression of diving in an oniric universe that has a palpable atmosphere, like dark water slipping on my entire body and mind, taking me far to the core of indescriptible dreams and nightmares, full of heady and sweet gloom.
I used this album as background music while I was recording myself reading a wonderful and strange novel to my sister who was in the hospital. It gave an incredibly dark ambiance to the whole story.

The Night and Other Sunken Dreams is a dark ambient album of peace and calm. I found myself most liking the tracks that gave me strong mental impressions, as is often the case, but even the ones that didn’t or were more abstract, provided some textured, blanketing, dream-like tones that were certainly pleasant to listen to. If you like your dark ambient ethereal, warm and echoing, you should take a listen to The Night and Other Sunken Dreams.
Favorite track: Dreamt within the Belly of a Deer.

Underwater Sleep Orchestra is a new project by Pär Boström of Cities Last Broadcast/Kammarheit, and Bruce Moallem of God Body Disconnect. Music for lost dreamers and admirers of solemn underwater music, previously only heard in dreams.
The album is presented as two different dreams from the same night. One a nightmarish trip within blurry worlds and one a nostalgic journey about things real and unreal, both carefully expressed through synthesizers and pedals, cassette experiments and field recordings. All music finally processed through VHS tape.

What Eusebes throws into the mix however, is the kind of sound that you might hear when one spaceship docks with another, a kind of vigorous thump that goes way beyond straining superstructure. I felt that this was an introspective track, but one that creates the feeling of something coming. A bit like being alone in your house and thinking you hear a door opening downstairs, but on a space-station, with ships and time-warps.
