bozsoi Fantastic somber score from Apocryphos. This album exceptionally balances different qualities that are a hallmark of this genre. One can find tracks that are much more meditative, more easily submerge into the unconscious part of the mind and ones that are more dynamic and stimulative. Fantastically captures a bleak yet intriguing and sometimes hopeful atmosphere. Favorite track: Consanguineous Spirit.

Mothkitten Stone Speak is an album that sets a tone heard throughout front to back. It opens with a track that is bleak, curious and immersive, field recording heavy and toying with the senses. Favorite track: Consanguineous Spirit.

raris-dolor Apocryphos, as an artist, is seldom the most bombastic (e.g. when featuring in compilations), but consistently delivers really great experiences. I don't think I've heard a track by Apocyryphos that I haven't liked.

This album opens strong with Tenebrous, an oily, slithering aural monster of a track, but the other tracks are subtle and mysterious things that invite multiple listens. Favorite track: Tenebrous.
