elmoantoncantor I don't know what to choose in this masterpiece, all I know is that it transports me to faraway places like Innsmouth, Oakmont and Kingsport, among other decrepit seashore settlements, full of strange lurking shadows and seaweed.

fyeahmetal While this album definitely has its own narrative, evidenced by the beautiful artwork and text in the download edition, it makes me think of the Titanic going to its watery grave. The detuned pianos and ghostly radio transmissions are downright cinematic, and the artist's Scottish accent during voiceovers is lovely. Favorite track: Radio Signature Interludium.
Peregrinatur

Peregrinatur Disclaimer: I love all things Ruptured World. That being said the sound design on this is excellent. The cold, dark waters envelope the listener with a bone deep feeling of inevitability....as vast as your knowledge is, the depths of the ocean will drown you in their eldritch horrors. Favorite track: The Silencing Tide.

darkcasey Shore Rituals is a salt-laced windswept album, one that I think does a great job of helping the listener experience some of the majesty, mystery and magnitude, of the liquid that covers so much of our planet. Its tinny radio sounds and strange piano melodies act like an anchor for the mind, the sea and the things beneath it always pulling and pushing at the edge of the imagination. Favorite track: Catharsis II.
Wandering Prince Vampire

Wandering Prince Vampire " the enigmas of the sea and a world of oceanic mysteries to the threshold of our understanding"
... and much more, when the Aquatic Gods offer us their precious gifts, are we worthy of them?
At the feet of the oceans, I place my humble offerings there
Of their waves, I make sacred Sanctuaries .... Favorite track: Catharsis II.

about

Ruptured World presents an album that diverges from the Planetary series to bring us this vivid exploration of the northerly coasts.

For centuries, the shore dwellers have practiced their rituals in appeasement of the eldritch legions of the deep. The gods of tempests are summoned to stay their wrath. The gods of precious boons are petitioned to provide fish and plunder for the tribal enclaves. The gods of the shimmering tides are beckoned for the gifts they proffer of golden glistening.

Shore Rituals contemplates the enigmas of the sea and brings a world of oceanic mysteries to the threshold of our understanding.

Comes with an 8 page digital booklet, CD with a physical 8 page booklet.
