gojimag84 Deeply meditative and deeply moving. I may even dare say that this album encapsulates the essence of the Human Condition. It's difficult to describe but it comes through with every listen. Incredible. Favorite track: Every Shade.

densomtystnar the soundtrack to my fragile and insecure inner self.
when i listen to it i always get this weird yet kind of pleasant feeling of nostalgia for things that never happened and places i've never been to. Favorite track: Something Else.

Daniel Ruben Been into drone/dark ambient since the 80s and this work is amazing! Like a powerful anxiolytic, it's so relaxing that sleep is irresistible when listening to this. It somehow drains all the stress, tension & darkness out of me and leaves me floating gently in a warm, safe space. Highly recommended. Favorite track: Here we'll be Gone.

about

Pedro Pimentel returns to Cryo Chamber with his second album on the label, Self Destruction Themes.

With humanity gone animals roam free on emptied streets. The silent cities an archaic memory of the apes civilization. Amund Ulvestads beautiful cello brings a sad emotional longing to this world. Apocryphos atmospheric drone sweeps the dilapidated alleyways. Simon Heaths textural piano a faint echo of humanity still lingering. Pedros acoustic and sweeping layers telling a tale of Self Destruction Themes.

An album for the end of the world
