its like ancient darkness drum and bass with this shifting mire of fog and endlessness. I highly recommend Randal Collier-Ford's music, weird and intense with this void that feels foreign, detached, and nothing you have really ever heard before.
Favorite track: Horns of Eden.

A strange but excellent effort from RCF with hints of Industrial. Grand sweeps and tremulous strings contrast with with quiet ambient mixes. Aural landscape feels like an industrial landscape riven with open cut mines, husks of factories, dunes of ash and stagnant pools of filthy water.

This album treads lightly upon the earth (or maybe even, beneath it)...i'm not convinced by the label's "black whirlpool" blurb but there is a definite subterranean archeology at work here; a purposeful claustrophobia that is unsettling...that works for me.

This journey is reminiscent of the things that make dark ambient and industrial music so interesting, yet it looks forward, it reaches out into the unknown, paving its own path along the way.
