Neuroplasticity

Yawning Druid One of the best records on Cryo Chamber that I've heard thus far. Endlessly texturized and detailed. Certainly a very mature record from Dronny Darko that brings the listener into mysterious territories rarely captured so perfectly in the genre. Favorite track: Mirror Neurons.

Dotflac Dronny Darko sets the action at a microscopic level inside our brains.

Cortical explorations in Mirror Neurons quickly turn into a never-ending fall into the abstruse limbos of our identity, before cautiously walking like funambulists on the tight ropes formed by the axons, crossing the boiling ocean of neuroplasticity laying underneath.

Ending in an inception of abstraction, where our organic remnants completely turn into binary information, our final obsession is to enter the matrix. Favorite track: Circuits.
From Corners Unknown
From Corners Unknown thumbnail
From Corners Unknown Darko submerses listeners in a glass tank and sedates them with narcotics, inducing a coma. Perhaps he is constructing a body with mechanical parts or attempting to resuscitate a synthetic organism. Nebulous yet captivating, Darko mystifies the listener by digging into their subconscious. My write-up: fromcornersunknown.com/2016/04/05/dronny-darko-neuroplasticity/ Favorite track: Plazma Lake.
This Is Darkness
This Is Darkness thumbnail
This Is Darkness The sound palette is totally foreign, electrical, yet still seeming to hold an organic tone. The soundscapes are harsh, yet captured with a pristine production value, frequently touching on deep hollow drones and various white noises.

Bruce Moallem I'm a hound for details, and Neuroplasticity sure delivers them. You'll find many tiny machinery and robotic sounds implanted within an airy black void. To me, this sounds like a journey into the brain of an infected cyborg. It makes me feel as if I'm hovering above circuit boards, and traveling through hidden sectors searching for the virus that has plagued this machine. Favorite track: "Ion Voltage"

about

Dronny Darko's second solo full length album on Cryo Chamber is an introverted journey. Making its way through the psyche it changes your state of consciousness.

Space ambient drones mix with minimal sounds crafted in the Black Room Studio in Kiev. This album maps not the outer world, but the inner. The clang and electric charge of synapses gone haywire. Nerve endings raging with fire. The empty void of consciousness tuned out. Worlds within dreams and dreams within those dreams.

For lovers of lowercase music and minimal drone
