Endtime Psalms

Honarius I've long awaited the next release by Aegri Somnia after been quite impressed by Monde Obscure. The style shifts from the beginning of the album to the end with the field recordings of living things becoming less frequent towards the end to my suprise. The finale, We Were Stardust is like a great desert devoid of life and is a stark contrast to the sickening but organic noise of Monde Obscure. I enjoyed this album a lot and I would gladly recommend it to others who enjoyed dark ambient. Favorite track: We Were Stardust.
This Is Darkness

This Is Darkness After such an impressive product as Monde Obscure, one could wonder how Aegri Somnia would top its achievements. Jurica Santek doesn’t try to conquer his previous work, instead he moves off to the side, building a new foundation, with new stories, even if they fall within the same general narrative. Like its predecessor, Endtime Psalms is the epitome of cinematic dark ambient. Read full review at: www.thisisdarkness.com/2017/03/19/aegri-somnia-endtime-psalms-2017-review/

Aegri somnia returns with his long awaited second album on Cryo Chamber.

The hum of the Endtime Psalms echo through burnt out buildings. Awaiting impending death as the sky grows dark. Black smoke wheezing from charred windows. We we're born from stardust, but are but puppets in a mindless game of DNA manipulation, life.

Deep analogue drones rumble under the heavy boots of the human machine. Aegri Somnia plays the role of field recorder and audio manipulator with surgical precision.
