Geogaddi Huge Album by Kolhoosi 13!
This one contains not just outstanding great drone ambient , it is also a unique "Statement" about war and the results of megalomania, inside its genre!
I love and highly recommend this one!
Favorite track: Rainout.
L.Tech

L.Tech Post apocalyptic dark ambient music at its finest. Congratulations to Kolhoosi 13 for injecting this genre with brand new and dynamic sound textures and field recordings excavated from a fallen military industrial complex.

The art work (by Erik Osvald and Simon Heath) captures the "feel" of the album and the dense, mechanized drone soundscapes to perfection. An impressive project in every way, outstanding work! Favorite track: Glow From the Depths.

Rindenberg Quality-no-bullshit deep drones from the end of the world as we know it. Few alarms and no suprises, a perfect companion to books like The Road. Favorite track: Glow From the Depths.

This Is Darkness Monuments Of Power has an extremely high replay value, as the album is full of subtleties which will slowly take form before the listener. Where some albums of this genre can be easily summarized and memorized within the first few listens, you'll find that Monuments Of Power still has secrets to unfold long after the first play-through.

about

The barren soundscapes from Finnish duo Kolhoosi 13 paint a bleak picture. A world in the aftermath of reckless experiments and actions made in the name of power. Manifesting complete disregard of life and man's own habitat. A world where both lives and nature are expendable. Where the grim consequences are just another record erased and forgotten.

Raspy upbeat vinyl recordings reverberates through dilapidated buildings. A Putrid stench of oil mixed with gunpowder seeks out nostrils clogged with soot. Machine gun shots echo through emptied streets. The subdued march of a thousand men makes the ground shake as you hide from the bombs about to drop.

For fans of the European style of militaristic dark ambient and industrial.
