hello swirl A smooth and subtly-varied ambient time toward a darkly twisting crescendo. Favorite track: Every Empty Evening.

CyhAnide Aptly named, this album is thick and staticky, as if every resonance and vibration clings to your brain and skin. High, hollow echoes are lights in the darkness--but the light from this sun is very cold indeed, and where it leads you isn't any warmer. Favorite track: Every Empty Evening.

Honarius This album has some really unnerving pieces, to the level of Monde Obscurite, Ugasanie and Randal Collier Ford. An excellent choice for the 2015 Halloween Sale :) Favorite track: Creature Called Human.

about

How Cold is the Sun presents a journey to the deepest black, a highly unsettling album from German Ann Jachec. Her nightmarish soundscapes easily seep into the psyche of the listener. Drone like bottoms, scraping highs and an atmospheric balanced resonance in the mids creates not only a very well mixed voyage, but a touching one. This is dark ambient that constantly morphs and surprises the listener, both disturbing and beautiful.

Available in 24 bit Flac.
